Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She was a headgirl in the Arnold School, Blackpool and was awarded straight A's on her A-levels. In a discussion about her Emmerdale role, Coleman admitted that she regretted that she did not have a traditional university education. Coleman worked with a group named In Yer Space at her school. The group performed Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. She was awarded an award for her performance and the play was also received favourably. Coleman got the Emmerdale character Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with drama schools. Coleman won two awards in 2007. In 2007, the British Soap Awards nominated her for the title of best newcomer. The National Television Awards, she received the award for most popular newcomer. In 2009, at the British Soap Awards she was nominated in categories such as the Best Actress Sexiest Female and the Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman received her TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March 2012 press conference that Coleman will play Matt Smith's character after Karen Gillan left. Moffat chose her due to the ease with which she worked with Smith and also because she spoke faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She is active in the field since 1987. She has appeared in many TV and film projects. She has been much prominent on TV as opposed to films. Eva has played a variety of characters on TV, however two stand out in particular: The role of Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as Detective Natalia Boa Vistas for CSI Miami. Her first TV role earned the show two Daytime Emmy nominations, and gave her the opportunity to explore the love of music in her. Eva is an entrepreneur in addition to an actress. She has been married three times, and has a daughter who is along with her husband.
