Coleman is a native of Blackpool Lancashire. She was a graduate of Arnold School Blackpool, where she achieved straight A grades for all of her A-levels. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March 2012 press announcement that Coleman will portray Matt Smith's partner after Karen Gillan left. Moffat picked her for the role due to her ability to complement Smith and the fact that she could speak faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She is active in the industry since 1987. She's been involved in a variety of films as well as TV shows. But she's been most prominent on television rather than in movies. Eva is known best by her character of the character Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children as well as detective Natalia Boa Vistas in CSI Miami.
