Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. The stage debut of her career started in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then she appeared in numerous Broadway shows before becoming an international star alongside Li'l Abner in. Within the same calendar year she released her first musical album, This is Tina Time. Louise made her debut in Hollywood as God's Little Acre a drama which was made in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda the main character of the film. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's teacher. The actress joined CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her acting career between Broadway as well as Hollywood, portraying more somber roles as in contrast to her portrayal as a glamorous girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently she's also been an acclaimed director of well-known television series such as Supernatural and The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was just three which is where she spent the rest of her childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and she has settled down there ever since.
