Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress, best known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she began her acting career on stage in Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In 1956, she made her big break on Broadway along with Li'l abner. The album was released by her too late for Tina the following year. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was as Griselda on God's Little Acre which was a 1958 drama. It received wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. At the time, she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection with Lee Strasberg as his student. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her acting career between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in more realistic characters as in contrast to her portrayal of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she has also made a name for herself as a director who has been successful in numerous well-known TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. She was birthed in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. The family relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection to play the lead.
