Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the US for over forty years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). The actress began her career as a stage performer in the 1950s, beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In 1956, she had her breakthrough in the stage on Broadway with Li'l Abner. In the year 1957, she made her debut album named It's time to Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre a dramatic film. It was a huge hit and Louise received the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's teacher. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood and Broadway as a somber character in order to dispel her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she also became a well-known director on popular TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three where she subsequently spent her childhood and adolescence. When she was selected in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there since then.
