Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the late 1960s. In the 1950s she started her professional career as an actor on stage as part of Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it famous in the national stage scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. In 1957, she released her debut music album entitled It's time for Tina. Her first appearance in Hollywood was when she played Griselda in God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 film. It received wide reviews. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. In the course of this film, she was joined the Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship to Lee Strasberg as his student. In 1964, she won the role of her life when CBS appointed her as Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her work between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing more serious roles, as opposed to the image of glamorous. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. Recently, however, she has made a impression as a director for many popular TV shows, including Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex on August 28th 1965 and her family moved to Toronto at the age of 3 which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. In 1997, after being picked to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has resided in the city ever since.
