Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress, best known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. Her Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared when she made her stage debut. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage performer in several Broadway plays before breaking through into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's debut in 1957. Within the same calendar year she released her first musical album, The album is Tina Time. Louise began her journey into Hollywood as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Small Acre a drama film released 1958.The film received a lot of praise as well as Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's pupil. The next role she starred in was with the year 1964, when she enrolled with CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour continued to successfully move between Broadway and Hollywood acting as a sombre character against her famous image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she has also made a name for herself as a director who has been successful in several well-known television series such as Supernatural or The 100. Born on 28 August 1965, in Essex. When she was 3, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of throughout her early years. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and has lived there for the last ten years.
