Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actress, singer, and writer best known as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she launched her career as an actress on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Later, she appeared in number of Broadway productions before she became an international star along with Li'l abner in 1957. In the year 1957, she made her debut album named It's time to Tina. Louise began with her Hollywood career in 1958, where she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's little Acre a dramatic film. The film was a massive commercial success and Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the course of this film, she was enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. Louise joined CBS in 1964, to portray Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her acting career from Broadway as well as Hollywood and portrayed more serious characters as opposed to her perception of being glamorous. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years, she has made a name for herself as the director of several popular TV series like Supernatural or The 100. The family she was born into moved from Essex to Toronto and she lived there for both her teenage and adult years. They settled her in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
