Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress best known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s the television show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she began her acting career on stage with Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions until she made it huge in the national theater area with Li'l abner's in 1957. Also, she released her debut album of music, titled It's Time to Tina that same year. Louise's first venture into Hollywood was in the role of Griselda In God's Little Acre, a 1958 drama. The film was met with wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. During this time she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and became acquainted to Lee Strasberg as his student. She signed on with CBS in 1964, to portray Ginger Grant. Louise was able to do a fantastic job juggling Broadway as well as Hollywood. She was portrayed as a dark as well as contrasting characters from the glamorous doll she was perceived as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she's been making a distinction as a producer of several popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was just three in the following years, where she lived her childhood and adolescence. When she was selected for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and she has been there from then on.
