Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in America for over forty years. Most famously, she is known for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. After that, she acted on Broadway in various shows until the year 1957, in which Li'l abner was famous at the National Theatre. The singer also released her debut album of music, It's Time For Tina that same year. Louise debuted as a performer in Hollywood in God's Little Acre, a film released in 1958. She played Griselda, a character in the film. At the time, she joined the Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. In 1964, she signed with CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career, balancing Broadway television with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious rather than the glamorous image that she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she was also a prominent director of popular television programs like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the role of lead.
