Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the US for over 40 years. Her most well-known role is for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in when she made her stage debut. After that, she acted on Broadway for a number of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner became famous at the National Theatre. That same year, she recorded her first album of music It's time for Tina. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was as Griselda in God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 film. The film received widespread applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. As students in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her most memorable performance came with the year 1964, when she was signed by CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour managed to move between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character opposed her perceived image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years Tapping has also emerged as the most sought-after director for popular TV series like Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 27th August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto around the age of three. Her childhood was spent there and her adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the role of lead.
