Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. Her stage experience began during the 1950s in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Later, she appeared in variety of Broadway performances before becoming a star on national stage with Li'l Abner in 1957. In 1957, she made her debut album called It's time for Tina. Louise's first venture into Hollywood was as Griselda on God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 romantic drama. The film garnered wide reviews. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for her performance in the New Star of the year category. She attended Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's pupil. In 1964, she won the role of her life when CBS appointed her as Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her career in between Broadway as well as Hollywood and portrayed more serious characters as opposed to her image as an glamor girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years she's also become a well-known director for popular television shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was just three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. When she was selected in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has resided there since then.
