Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, performer and actress well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared when she made her stage debut. In 1956, she had her breakthrough with a performance on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. Within the same calendar year she released her first musical album, This is Tina Time. Louise debuted in Hollywood as God's Little Acre which was a dramatic that was released in the year 1958. She performed the role of Griselda, a character in the movie. During this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. She signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to move between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber character as against her famous image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she also became a well-known director of popular television series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex August 28th, 1965. The family relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. After being chosen in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived in Vancouver ever since.
